Who we can serve
Stated plainly, including the parts where the answer is no.
We can almost certainly help if…
- You are a veteran in the St. Louis region, in any discharge status
- You are experiencing homelessness, or are about to be
- You are housed through Valor Villages
- You are at risk of losing housing because of a health condition
- You have a condition nobody has managed for years because your circumstances made it impossible
- You have been turned away elsewhere because of active substance use
We are the wrong organization if…
- You need emergency or trauma care — call 911
- You are in immediate crisis — call or text 988, veterans press 1
- You need inpatient psychiatric admission
- You primarily need housing, food or case management — that is Valor Villages
- You are looking for a prescriber to continue an opioid prescription. We reduce opioid burden; we are not a supply
- You live outside the St. Louis region — we will help you find someone local, but we cannot follow through at distance
Things that do not disqualify you
People routinely rule themselves out for reasons that are not reasons. None of these affect whether we will assess you:
- No insurance, no money, no ability to pay
- No ID, no address, no phone
- Active substance use
- A discharge that was not honorable
- Missed appointments somewhere else
- Having been told you are “non-compliant”
- Not being a veteran — veterans are our center, not our limit
Region
We serve the greater St. Louis region across both Missouri and Illinois. The administrative office is at 4477 Woodson Rd, Suite 210, St. Louis, MO 63134. Care is delivered at partner sites and in the community, not exclusively at that address.
