Privacy policy
What we collect, why, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Last updated August 7, 2026. This policy covers valormedica.org, operated by Sevadar Foundation Inc. (“we”, “us”).
Health information is handled separately
Information you give us in the course of seeking or receiving care is protected health information and is handled under medical confidentiality rules, not under this website policy. It is not shared with donors, funders, or with Valor Villages case management, without your written authorization.
Records relating to substance use disorder treatment carry additional federal protection under 42 CFR Part 2, which is stricter than general medical privacy law and limits disclosure even where other rules would permit it.
What this website collects
- Information you submit — name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us in a form or email.
- Donation information — processed by our payment platform. We receive your name, contact details and gift amount. We never receive or store your card number.
- Basic server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested. Used for security and troubleshooting.
Forms
Our forms are delivered by JotForm. Care-related forms use a HIPAA-enabled plan. Submissions are stored with JotForm under its terms, and are not stored on this website.
How we use it
To respond to you, deliver and coordinate care, process and receipt gifts, meet legal and accounting obligations, and — only if you opt in — send updates.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Ever.
- We do not share donor information with other organizations, including Valor Villages.
- We do not use third-party telemarketers.
- We do not use your health information for fundraising.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only what is needed to function. If analytics are added, this section will name the provider and what it collects before it is switched on. We do not run advertising trackers.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it, and unsubscribe from any mailing at any time. Write to info@valormedica.org.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information through it.
