Donor privacy policy

Short, because the commitments are simple and absolute.

Last updated August 7, 2026.

Our commitments

  1. We never sell, rent, trade or share your information with any other organization, for any purpose, including with Valor Villages Inc.
  2. We do not use third-party telemarketers or professional solicitors.
  3. You control contact. Every mailing carries an unsubscribe link, and you can ask to be removed from all contact while continuing to give.
  4. You may give anonymously. We still need your details for the tax receipt, but they stay internal and your name appears nowhere.
  5. Card data never touches this website. Payments are handled by our processor.
  6. Designated gifts are honored. A gift given for a named program is spent on it, or we contact you before redirecting it.
  7. We will decline a gift where accepting it would compromise clinical independence.
  8. We never use patient information for fundraising. Donors are never told about identifiable patients, and patients are never solicited on the basis of their care.

Receipts and records

You receive a receipt by email immediately, and an annual summary each January. We retain donation records as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Requests

To see what we hold, correct it, go anonymous, or stop all contact, write to give@valormedica.org. No explanation required.

Tax status

Sevadar Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, EIN 93-2840861. Valor Medica is a DBA of the Foundation. Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Valor Villages Inc. (EIN 93-2266407) is a separate organization.
