The only kind of gift that lets us promise someone we will still be here next month.
Why recurring gifts matter more here than usual
Recovery in this population is measured in years, not visits. A patient who arrives unhoused, in pain, with untreated PTSD and a decade of unmanaged diabetes is not a three-appointment problem.
One-time gifts are genuinely valuable and we are grateful for every one. But they fund episodes. Recurring gifts fund continuity — and continuity is the thing that has been missing from almost every one of our patients’ medical histories.
It is the same logic as the prairie. Year one looks like nothing is working. The organizations that reach for the mower are the ones that funded a year at a time.
How it works
- Give any amount monthly, charged on the same date each month
- Change the amount or stop at any time, with no explanation required
- Receipts by email each month, plus a single annual summary each January for your tax filing
- Card details are held by our payment processor, never by this website

Why recurring support is different
Outreach runs on a schedule and supplies are consumed at a steady rate. A predictable monthly amount lets the programme plan, and a modest recurring gift is worth more operationally than a larger unpredictable one.
What it pays for
Supplies carried on outreach, transport that turns an offered appointment into an attended one, documentation costs for replacing identification, and the staff time that makes care continuous rather than episodic.
Practical matters
Sevadar Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) and contributions are deductible as allowed by law. You can change or stop a recurring gift at any time. We do not sell, rent or exchange supporter information, and we would rather contact you rarely and usefully than often.
What we will not spend it on
Not on fundraising as a primary activity, and not on advertising the fact that we exist. The overwhelming majority of what is given goes to supplies, transport, documentation costs and the staff time that makes care continuous. Where a gift is restricted to a purpose it is used for that purpose or returned.
If a monthly gift is not right for you
In-kind goods are genuinely useful and there is a list of what is currently short. Reliable volunteering, particularly administrative and documentation help, unlocks more care per hour than most people expect.
