Corporate & foundation partners

Partnership that funds programs, not naming rights.

What partnership looks like

  • Program sponsorship — underwriting a defined program for a defined period, with reporting on what it delivered
  • Foundation grants — we will complete your process and report against your framework
  • Employer matching — the cheapest way to double employee generosity, and widely unclaimed
  • Skills-based support — legal, accounting, logistics and trades expertise, which we need more than we need branded merchandise
  • In-kind supply — particularly socks, hygiene items and wound care at volume
  • Hiring trainees — the most valuable thing an employer can offer this program is a job at the end of it

What we will not do for a sponsor

Stating this up front prevents an awkward conversation later:

  • We will not give a funder any influence over clinical decisions
  • We will not share patient information, including anonymized case detail that could identify someone in a population this small
  • We will not accept a gift conditioned on excluding a category of patient
  • We will not endorse a product or service in exchange for funding

Our gift acceptance policy allows us to decline a gift where accepting it would compromise clinical independence, and we will use it.

Existing partners

The Hunt Foundation supported the opening of Valor #1 Housing with Valor Villages in November 2025. Valor Villages’ named collaborators also include Veterans Services of St. Louis.

What partnership looks like in practice

Funding a defined programme or a defined cost — a season of outreach supplies, transport, documentation costs — where the outcome can actually be reported back. Employee volunteering where it is reliable rather than one-off. In-kind provision of goods or services the programme already buys.

What we will not do for a sponsor

  • Provide access to residents or patients for photography, filming or promotional purposes.
  • Share identifiable information about anyone we serve.
  • Adopt a programme we do not think is clinically warranted because it is fundable.
  • Describe outreach as a mobile clinic, or otherwise overstate what is provided, to make a sponsorship read better.

Reporting

Where a partnership funds a defined activity, we report on that activity specifically rather than sending a general annual summary. If we cannot measure it, we will say so before the agreement rather than afterwards.
