Who does what
The single most useful thing we can publish about this partnership is the boundary. People arrive needing help and should not have to work out which organization to ask.

What the partnership has built
Valor #1 Housing — November 2025
With support from The Hunt Foundation, Valor Villages opened a residence for eight formerly unhoused veterans: two units, four women on one side and four men on the other. Not shelter beds — a residence with a kitchen, laundry, a door that locks, help claiming earned benefits, and transport to medical appointments.
The horticulture retraining program and prairie — 2026
A quiet-by-design vocational training program anchored by a two-tenths-of-an-acre restoration of historical Missouri tallgrass prairie, with a planned extensive green roof on the Woodson Road building. Veterans trained on the site will install and maintain both.

Building Bright Futures
Valor Villages is separately raising funds for a residential home for children facing homelessness or displacement. That campaign is theirs; we support it clinically and point you to it honestly. It is not funded by gifts made on this site.
Giving to the right organization
Gifts made on this site go to Sevadar Foundation Inc. (EIN 93-2840861) and fund the clinical and vocational programs described here. Gifts to Valor Villages Inc. (EIN 93-2266407) fund housing, food and case management, and are made at valorvillages.org. Both organizations are 501(c)(3) tax-exempt; neither passes gifts to the other automatically.
