Where it goes

In priority order:

  1. Direct clinical care — assessment, treatment, medications and coordination for patients who cannot pay
  2. Recovery and outreach — counseling support, street outreach supplies, and the transport that makes appointments happen
  3. Vocational training — the horticulture program, its tools, materials and instruction

What a gift does

Concrete things, not abstractions

Transport

The single most common reason care does not happen is that someone could not get there.

Wound care

Outreach supplies that stop a small infection becoming an amputation.

Medication

For patients with no coverage and no way to pay for a prescription.

Tools

Hand tools, seed and materials for trainees learning a trade with real demand.

Other ways

Not everything useful is a card payment

Questions about giving

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes. Sevadar Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, EIN 93-2840861. Valor Medica is a DBA of the Foundation. Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt by email immediately, and an annual summary in January.

Does my gift go to Valor Villages?

No — and this matters. Gifts made here go to Sevadar Foundation Inc. (EIN 93-2840861) and fund the clinical and vocational programs on this site. Valor Villages Inc. (EIN 93-2266407) is a separate 501(c)(3) with its own board and finances. If you want to fund housing, food or case management, give directly at valorvillages.org.

Can I direct my gift to a specific program?

Yes. Any gift designated for a named program is spent on that program, or we contact you before redirecting it.

Will you sell or share my information?

Never. We do not sell, rent, trade or share donor information with anyone, and we do not use third-party telemarketers. See our donor privacy policy.

Can I give anonymously?

Yes. Select the anonymity option when giving, or contact us and we will handle it. We still need your details for the tax receipt, but they stay internal.
