Who is accountable for the clinical care, and who runs the partnership on the nonprofit side.

Dr. Gurpreet Singh Padda, MD, MBA, MHP
Chief Medical Officer, Valor Villages
Dr. Padda is responsible for the clinical side of the partnership — the medical conditions our patients arrive with, the serious comorbidities, and the conditions stacked on top of those. He is a board-certified physician in interventional pain management with a practice built on reducing opioid burden rather than extending it.
He served as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University, was Associate Director of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Director of the Pediatric Acute Pain Service, and has twice delivered the national keynote at ASIPP. He is President of the Missouri Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

Clinical network
How care is actually delivered
Valor Medica is deliberately small. Rather than duplicate services that already exist in St. Louis, we coordinate them.
VA Healthcare System
Comprehensive care for eligible veterans, including mental health, substance use treatment and primary care. We coordinate rather than replace.
Community health centers
Primary, dental and mental health services for neighbors who are not VA-eligible, including transport to and from appointments.
Partner treatment providers
Inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment through established partner programs, including medication-assisted treatment.
